It’s hard to choose which postpartum belly wrap to buy when there are so many options. A physical therapist narrows it down to the two best wraps: Belly Bandit and Amazon.

You don’t want to go throughout your postpartum journey not knowing that they exist, that they work, and that I, as a physical therapist, highly recommend them. They are a game changer. I talk all about them on my podcast and all over the blog. Postpartum belly wraps are one of the two components of The Dream Team, the team that helps you get rid of your postpartum belly faster than ever before. The dream team is key to losing the postpartum pooch.

Wearing the postpartum belly wrap is crucial, and wearing it at the right time is even more crucial. If you are out of that prime window of time, it’s not going to help you. If you are in that prime window of time, from newly postpartum to 4 months postpartum, that’s when you want to wear a postpartum belly wrap because it most effective at that point of your recovery journey.

Side By Side Comparison of Belly Bandit and Amazon Postpartum Belly Wraps

Today we are doing a side by side comparison of my two favorite postpartum belly wraps. These two postpartum belly wraps have different price ranges. I want to offer you two options because everyone’s budget is different, and no matter what your budget is, you should be investing in a postpartum belly wrap.

Yes, this is an investment. It’s an investment in your health. Your belly wrap will give you years of confidence and strength moving forward.

There are so many more benefits to wearing postpartum belly wraps. To name a few: it helps bring your abdominal muscles back together so they align better for future ab exercises, the belly wraps help to assist in the shrinkage of your uterus after pregnancy and wearing them will 100% build your confidence.

So, let’s compare the two postpartum belly wraps that I invested in when I had my 4 babies.

By the time you are done with the article, I want you to have clarity on which postpartum belly wrap is the right one for you. You’ll be able to know with confidence which postpartum belly wrap you should invest in.

Is it the one that costs more money and is more of a “luxury” postpartum belly wrap or should you resort to the least expensive one? Does the least expensive postpartum belly wrap even work? Should you even spend time wearing one that is of a lower price and quality? Let’s find out.

Postpartum Belly Wrap #1:

Belly Bandit Postpartum Belly Wraps

First off, I just want to be upfront with you and let you know that I am an affiliate for Belly Bandit, which means I make a small commission off the sales from Belly Bandit. The reason why I am a Belly Bandit affiliate is because I love the brand so much and their products work. And on top of that, their belly wraps are extremely comfortable and beautiful to wear.

Belly Bandit is the #1 best seller for postpartum belly wraps and is listed as the premiere FDA Registered Medical Device brand in Maternity and Postpartum Support Products.

Belly Bandit is the #1 Best Seller

Belly Bandit has high quality products, thus having a higher price point. The durability and material they use is top of the line. Plus, the support is top notch. Over time, the Belly Bandit belly wrap holds it’s shape and holds it well!

I wore a postpartum belly wrap from Belly Bandit for my postpartum recovery, and I saw quick results with flattening my stomach while also being extremely comfortable to wear. I even wore it out in public, under my top. You can read more about my review of Belly Bandit’s postpartum belly wraps here

Postpartum Belly Wrap #2:

Amazon ChongErfei 3-in-1 Postpartum Belly Wrap Support

The other postpartum belly wrap that I used during my postpartum recovery was the ChongErfei 3-in-1 support belly wrap that I purchased on Amazon. I purchased it because I was borrowing the Belly Bandit from my sister-in-law and she was pregnant at the same time so she used it during my second postpartum recovery while I resorted to a cheaper one on Amazon. I read the reviews and decided to go with this wrap since it had 3 different wraps in one. Since I am a physical therapist, I saw the possibilities in using 3 different wraps in various ways to my advantage.

If you go on Amazon to purchase the 3-in-1 Postpartum Support belly wrap, it is priced at $25.99 (at the time I am writing this) and is significantly cheaper than the price of a postpartum belly wrap from Belly Bandit. Belly Bandit has a variety of wraps at different price points that range from $49.95 to $99.95. Their wraps vary and have different shapes and velcro attachments.

3 Pieces Included in the Amazon ChongErfei Support Wrap

Going back to the 3-in-1 postpartum belly wrap, this wrap comes with 3 separate wraps that are to be worn all together. I talk about it in more detail about how to wear the 3-in-1  postpartum belly wrap properly for maximum effect.

This wrap can be rather bulky and feel uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time. It is not a wrap that you can wear out in public without it being noticed. With the Belly Bandit wrap, it was just one wrap and is seamless. It can be easily hidden under a shirt while going out in public, which is a huge bonus. And with this one wrap, you get high grade support and compression.

One Piece for the Belly Bandit Postpartum Belly Wrap

Because of Belly Bandit’s design, the one piece wrap, the seamless look and feel of the wrap, I always recommend Belly Bandit wraps over any other. The only reason why I would suggest you purchase the 3-in-1 postpartum belly wrap is strictly due to budget constraints.

If your budget doesn’t allow you to purchase a Belly Bandit, go for the Amazon 3-in-1 ChongErfei support postpartum belly wrap. But if you are planning on having more than one baby, I always recommend ordering a Belly Bandit since you will be wearing it so much over the course of a few years.

Comfort, Pricing and Durability – Belly Bandit Has It All

You want to be comfortable when you are wearing a postpartum belly wrap. You will be nursing, doing the laundry, vacuuming/cleaning the house, changing diapers, playing on the floor with your baby, etc. All these things require movement, and you want to feel like you are free to move when wearing something so constraining to your body.

If you get a belly wrap that doesn’t feel good, you are probably not going to wear it and then it’s not going to serve any purpose. The change happens the more you wear it. You can read more about how long you should wear your postpartum belly wrap here and learn more about my Belly Bandit review here and my 3-in-1 postpartum belly wrap review here

So, which postpartum belly wrap is right for you? If I was to recommend a postpartum belly wrap for you, I would 100% go with a Belly Bandit. But if the price is too high, you can still get the benefit of compression from the the ChongErfei 3-in-1 support postpartum belly wrap. The choice is yours! But no matter what, definitely get yourself a wrap. You’ll thank me later!
