Hey there, fit moms! Summer is here, and it’s the perfect time to soak up the sun and get active with your little one. Staying fit and healthy doesn’t mean you have to stay indoors or miss out on precious moments with your baby. Here are five fun and effective ways to work out outside with your baby during those beautiful summer days.

1. Stroller Walk at A New Park

One of the simplest yet most enjoyable ways to work out is to take a stroller walk at a new park. The fresh air and change of scenery will do wonders for both you and your baby. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to invite a friend and grow your community of fit moms. Share the experience, support each other, and make new memories together.

2. Swim with Your Baby

Head to the pool and enjoy some quality swim time with your baby in a floating device. You can focus on doing laps while your baby enjoys the water. Make it more fun by putting on your favorite music. Set a timer, change directions, and try marching or walking it out in the shallow end. It’s a fantastic full-body workout that keeps you both cool and active.

3. Baby-Wearing Leg Routine

Strap your baby on in your favorite wrap or carrier and perform a basic leg routine right in your driveway. Marches, squats, and lunges are all great exercises you can do while keeping your baby close. It’s a wonderful way to strengthen your legs and bond with your little one at the same time.

4. Upper Body Arm Workout With Your Baby

Roll out a blanket on the grass or a yoga mat and get ready for an upper body workout with your baby in your arms. Here are a few exercises you can try:

1. Push-ups over baby: Lay your baby on the blanket and do push-ups, giving them a kiss each time you lower yourself.

2. Standing shoulder raises: Hold your baby securely and lift them to shoulder height.

3. Standing chest press: With your baby held close to your chest, push them away from your body and then bring them back.

These exercises are not only effective but also a lot of fun for your baby!

5. Hiking With Your Baby

If you love to travel and explore, hiking is a fantastic way to stay active. Strap your baby on and hit the trails. Walking with your baby strapped on provides an added challenge and a harder cardio burn. It’s a wonderful way to continue your love for hiking while introducing your baby to the beauty of nature.
