Let me know if this is you. You recently had a baby, you’re loving life as a mom, but you’re also struggling with life as a mom. You feel blessed that you have your baby in your life, but you feel broken because your body just isn’t what it used to be.

You would consider yourself as having been athletic back before the positive pregnancy test hit your finger tips, but now that you went through 9 months of pregnancy, all things have changed. You are a busy mom, trying to keep all the things in working order: your house, your baby’s routines, your routine, even your husband’s routines.  Work and responsibilities are never going away, yet you can’t wait for your postpartum pooch to be long gone.

Shouldn’t this pooch be gone by now? Why is it even still here? I already gave birth to my baby, I don’t need this baby bump any more.

People think I’m still pregnant, but I’m not.

It’s time to get rid of the excess baby weight and get your body back to the way it was before, before you found out you were going to be a mom.

Invitation To Listen To The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast

Hey mama friend, I’m Dr. Jena, and I’d like to invite you to listen to my first episode of the Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast where I will be hanging out in your earbuds as you navigate your postpartum fitness journey.

The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast

That’s right, you can be a fit mom, and you can do it without the exhaustion and without the overwhelm. I’m a working mom of 4 little girls, and I have always managed to fit fitness into my busy schedule with time management and routines.

And I was able to lose the postpartum pooch 4 times after each of my pregnancies, all while working as a physical therapist, running a blog and YouTube channel and having more than enough time to spend with my girls making lasting memories that I will cherish forever. I am so glad you joined me today. Are you ready to dive into our first episode? Let’s go.

Busy Postpartum Mom

So first I want to thank you for your time here. I know you are busy. I know you have a long to-do list of things to accomplish today. I know you have diapers to change and stains to clean.

I totally get it.

I was once where you are right now. Like I said, I have 4 girls. At one point they were ages 5, 3, 2 and a newborn. Yikes. Thinking back to those days was rough. But I muscled through it with determination. I was determined to be a good mom all while staying healthy.

Health and fitness are sooo important to me. It has been since I was a little girl. I’m talking way back to 12 years old doing Billy Blank Tae Bo workout tapes.

Love For Fitness

Anyways, I hope you are like me and have a love for fitness. But now that you are mom, exercise is on the back-burner. You wish you had more time; you want to make it a priority, but obviously the cries and care of your baby supersede anything else.

I’m here to help you.

I created this podcast as a way to serve you, to guide you and coach you into accomplishing what you are set out to accomplish as a fit mom.

And let’s just stop right there and label yourself a fit mom. I know you probably don’t think that right about now, but the more you think it and believe it, the more you will become it. Do you believe that? I hope so, because it works, it really does.

Want To Get Rid Of The Postpartum Pooch?

So, fit mama, you want to get rid of your postpartum pooch, you want to regain your core strength back, you want to have muscle definition and you want to look and feel like you again. So let’s do this!

In this podcast, The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast, we most definitely will be talking all about exercise. And I sure have a lot of fun exercises up my sleeve ready to share with you. And some are basic. Basic is better at the beginning.

We are going to be talking about all these important topics on the podcast:

-C-sections

-Diastasis Recti

-Vaginal Deliveries

-Previous injuries and pains

-Car workouts are my favorite

-Workouts you can do at the office

-Workouts you can do on vacation

-Workouts with your baby  (some of my favorite memories as a mama!)

Alright, you get it. I love to workout, but I’m not an “Insanity style” kind of gal. Yeah, I like them on occasion, but as a new mom, Insanity is not the way I roll as a postpartum mama. You’ll see if you continue to listen to my podcast, The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast.

Schedules and Routines On The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast

Ok, so what else is this podcast going to cover? Not just workouts; you’ll quickly see that I’m most known for my superpower of being a master scheduler.

If you think about it, right now in my life I’m juggling 6 people’s schedules and making sure they all fit perfectly like a puzzle without a hiccup all while cooking 7 dinners a week. We don’t eat out much. And when we do, it’s quite the treat for us.

Schedules, Routines and Time Blocking For Busy Moms

So if you love schedules, routines and all things time blocking, you’re going to love this show because I help you navigate being a mom all while keeping order to your day so that you can find the ideal time to work out.

Seriously, having these routines and schedules allow for time for you to take care of yourself, to work out and never feel guilty about it or never feel crunched for time. And if you want to live the fit mom lifestyle for the rest of your life, this is where it all begins!

 Postpartum Fitness Hacks

Ok, so if you are liking what I’m saying so far and you are thinking, “This podcast is exactly what I’ve been looking for!” then great! I want to say thank you for being here. But I’ve got a little more for you. Something that I think you will like.

As you already know I’m a physical therapist. I’ve been practicing since 2009 and graduated from the #1 ranked physical therapy school in the United States, The University Of Pittbsurgh. Well, I absolutely love teaching new moms some of my favorite hacks and tips when it comes to healing, recovery and quick wins to save you time while you get stronger.

I know you don’t have all day to work out so that’s why I keep my exercises short and sweet. Plus, I am all about efficiency. I choose the most effective workouts so you get more bang for your buck. Aside from that, I have a lot of knowledge on postpartum belly wraps and girdles.

Through my blog, Live Core Strong, that is a sister to my Podcast, The Fit Postpartum Mom Podcast, I have taught thousands of new moms about postpartum belly wraps, the correct way to wear them, what not to do with belly wraps and a whole lot more. I can’t wait to share these game-changing hacks with you.

Losing your postpartum belly and regaining your core strength back is easier than you think, and I’m here to help you do that and a whole lot more.
