Whether you are a Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Uncle or friend, you most likely know a little girl under the age of 6. Have you ever had to buy a little girl a gift and had absolutely no idea what to buy her? Maybe you have a vague idea of what to buy but you are not confident in your purchase. Will the gift actually be liked by the girl?
You will find the absolute best gifts in this ultimate list for any little girl age range 0-6 years old. These gifts have been specifically picked by me because they met a certain Mommy criteria I have created. This is later explained.

GIFT GIVING IS SUPPOSED TO BE A JOYOUS TIME
Gift giving can come natural for some people but for others it can be a headache. The holidays are coming and of course you want to give your loved ones gifts, but what on earth do you buy for them?
You would hate for your gift to be unappreciated, left in a closet to collect dust, re-gifted or even thrown out. You want to give a gift to someone to cheer them up, make them happy and let them know you care about them. It’s the best feeling when you learn a year later that your gift is still being used by the person you gave it to.
THERE ARE SO MANY GIFT OPTIONS-WHERE DO I EVEN START?
When it comes to children, there are sooooo many options for gifts. Toys, books, dolls, clothes, movies, electronics, new fads, crafts, legos and blocks, the list goes on and on. So when it comes time to make a decision for little kids it can be a bit overwhelming.
I wanted to share with you a guide to help you narrow down your gift of choice for that special little girl. Since I have 4 girls ranging from 7 months to 5 years old I felt I was more qualified to talk specifically about little girl toys.
My girls have received a lot of gifts over the years, and I can tell you which gifts my girls have loved from when they were a baby until now being a kindergartner. I know which toys have the durability to last through the wear and tear of 4 girls getting their hands on them and playing with it repetitively over the years.
MEETING MY MOMMY CRITERIA FOR MAKING IT ON THIS GIFT LIST
In this gift list compiled for little girls ranging 0 months to 6 years, I stand firm behind my decision to include these. Either my girls have had these gifts that I love and are currently in my home or these are items I most definitely would buy for my girls because of it’s value, quality, durability, high reviews, entertainment value and great educational experiences my children would obtain by having that item.
A majority of these gifts that I have listed below have sentimental value to me. They are gifts that my girls have gotten as gifts from special friends and family. These gifts stand out as FAVORITES for my girls and they have even lasted almost 6 years of use. The gifts that I am talking about still look brand new even after those 6 years and 4 kids using them. Trust me, I am giving you a list compiled of only the best.
I have organized the list into subcategories within each age group
The categories include:
1. Education Gift-this gift will provide the little girl with an educational purpose behind the fun, this will make the little girl’s parents happy since it’s, well, educational!
2. Entertainment Gift-this gift is geared towards pure entertainment and playfulness for the girl; this will make the little girl squeal for joy
3. Durable Gift-this gift is something that will last years and years for the little girl to play with; this will surely make your little girl go, “WOW!”
4. Clothing Gift-this gift is something every little girl needs. What girl doesn’t need a new outfit to make them even cuter? This will make everyone say, “Awe, so cute.”
5. Creative Gift-this gift is for the crafty girl who loves to be creative with everything and anything; this will make the girl get really curious and tear right into the gift before she moves onto unwrapping the next gift.
6. Value Gift-this gift is for the girl who likes simple yet unique toys that maybe were completely unexpected and have never been seen before; this will make the girl say, “Cool, that looks fun, I don’t have that gift yet.”
(Also, most of these items can be bought for multiple age ranges; so go ahead and glance around for different items and once you click on the item, see if it comes in a different size or if the age range is for several years of use).
Well, let’s get right into it! Enjoy shopping for that special little girl. Just imagine how precious she will look when she unwraps these gifts.

Oh my goodness, this guide must’ve taken you forever to put together, there’s so much in here. I would be in heaven if I hadn’t already chosen some things for my almost 4 yo, but for sure what you listed are things we either are getting or have already considered. I think these are on target 🙂
Rose, glad you liked the list! Hope you have a great Holiday season shopping this year.
Great list! I have 3 girls, and we love Carter’s pajamas and clothing, Highlights magazines, and Dr Suess books. I might have to give that magnetic building set a try. I’ve seen them recommended a lot.
Anna, anything Carter’s is such great quality. And since having so many girls wearing the clothes for years, I can honestly tell you that IT LASTS!!! Hope your kids really have fun with the magnetic building set!
I love the nesting hungry Caterpillar blocks for kids ages 1-3. My daughter has many of these toys so I would say your picks are spot on.

What a lovely list! Magnatiles, Hot Dots, and Legos are all big in our house! I think my 3 year old daughter would LOVE that hopper ball (especially for those days this winter when it’s too cold to go outside) and my 6 year old budding artist would love the light up tracing pad. Thanks for giving me some ideas for our Christmas shopping!
Racheal, I am so glad you like the list! My 3 year old is the one that is on the bouncy ball toy non-stop! She loves it. It’s so much fun to watch her bouncing around the house like a kangaroo! I hope your kids enjoy their Christmas this year!
Thank you for writing this. I was struggling to find a gift for my 1 year old niece. This really helped!
Andrea, I am so glad this was helpful!
