Are you looking to expand on your home gym with a few new pieces of equipment that maybe you haven’t seen before? You’re probably getting bored with what you already have and you’re not ready to join a gym, but you want to feel like you are in a gym (but in your home!)

There are many affordable pieces of equipment that are still small enough and easy to manage in your home gym. I’m a physical therapist, and I work with gym equipment all the time. I have a bunch of favorites that I highly recommend to fitness lovers to purchase so they can invest in their own home gym.

In this article you’ll get a list of everything that I recommend for you to include in your home gym, specifically for those who are at the intermediate level (not beginner and not elite but somewhere in between).

Advanced Exercise Equipment for An Upgraded Home Gym

I’m not sure how long you have had a gym in your home, but it’s probably been longer than 3 months. I’m just guessing. You probably have all the basic home gym essentials like a yoga mat, dumbbells, physio ball and maybe some resistance bands and exercise tubing. But you’re ready to advance to the next level. You’re getting serious now about your workout routine and ready to commit, wholeheartedly to this fitness lifestyle. I’m proud of you. Don’t stop, but instead keep advancing.

In order to advance to the next level and reach your fitness goals, I highly recommend investing in some more advanced gym equipment for your home. I’m not talking body builder advanced, but healthy lifestyle fitness-lover advanced.
