Happy Monday! I hope you are having a wonderful start to your week. My goal every Monday is to inspire you to think positively and be motivated for what lies ahead.

Today’s Motivational Monday quote is about enjoying what you have in life, even though your life might not be exactly what you hoped it would be.

I went shopping a couple days ago for the first time in a long time. When I was out at the stores, I found myself eager to buy a bunch of things for my home that I knew were not important but I thought would look really nice.

Hesitation sunk in, and I decided to walk right by most of the things I admired because, well, I just didn’t need it. Of course, some of these items would really accent my home and complete the living space to look just perfect, but I knew it wouldn’t change the overall atmosphere of my home. I know my home is wonderful just the way it is.

You know why my home is so wonderful? Because my home is filled with the most loving family. Giggles and rapid pitter patter footsteps fill my home with joy every day. This makes my home wonderful -not the “things” within it but the people and memories that are made inside it.

My home is over 50 years old, and it has a handful of problem areas to it. It’s not perfect, but I don’t let it get to me. My home is not what defines my life. My life is wonderful regardless of how my home is.

Motherhood is incredibly rewarding, yet its challenges can leave you feeling anxious, inadequate, and overwhelmed with mom guilt.Trusted author Ruth Schwenk of Pressing Pause and The Better Mom blog will help you learn to give yourself grace as you grow in wisdom with The Better Mom Devotional….

Are there areas in your life that are not so perfect? Maybe your job? Your car? A relationship? If so, it’s ok. Life is NOT perfect, but you can still have a wonderful life…..

“Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.”

When I was little I always used to say, “Nothing’s Perfect”. I said it so much that my mom actually got a shirt made with that quote on it. I said it ALLLL THE TIME!

Now, I am a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ, and I have come to learn that only God is perfect.

“As For God His Way Is Perfect” Psalm 18:30

Don’t strive for perfection in your day to day life. You are setting yourself up for defeat and disappointment. Instead, enjoy the positive things in your life and view it as “WONDERFUL.”

Your life can be wonderful even with the imperfections that come with life. What is one thing in your life that you think is absolutely WONDERFUL?

    Keep Smiling,
